This is the first trailer for Year One, the new comedy staring Jack Black and Michael Cera (The dude from superbad) This movie looks to be set as this years favorite with an all star cast including footballer Vinnie Jones and Simpson's Voice guy Hank Azaria. Year one is directed by none other than Ghostbusters "Egon" actor Harold Ramis who also brought us Groundhog day. Year one is set for release  on the 19th of June 2009 and judging by this trailer It looks like its going to be very funny.

This looks pretty cool even though it does look like the next summer hit for the kids. Will Feral is a funny guy and no matter what kind of piece of shit movie he's in, it always manages to hit the funny bone. This movie looks like a cross between lost in space and clash of the titans or one of those other "dinorama" movies. Like the one with the giant crabs! that was cool. future, makes money come flying out of slot machines and tries to kill him, A little better than the new I phone Eh?. The world has been taken over by big brother and its become very difficult to do anything interesting without being spied on by the elusive eye. There are some pretty good people in Echelon Conspiracy, Martin Sheen, Ving Rhames and some guy called Shane West who apparently was in ER, I wouldn't know I never watch that show. This movie does look quite good, but it does seem to remind me a little of the Borne movies.  And with a title like Echelon Conspiracy it doesn't exactly ooze originality. Oh well the trailer isn't bad so Enjoy!

District B13, Ultimatum - A new French action star? Pa Core, Hardcore!

Who this looks super hardcore! Although the world has never seen a proper French action star. I guess the closed we got was Jean Claude van Damme ! District B13 is a action film staring French Pa Core Legend Cyril Raffaelli. For those of you who are un-aware of the street phenomenon Pa Core then this is the movie to watch. Pa Core is the incredibly dangerous activity of jumping from building to building, and is a sort of a real life Batman - Spiderman urban marathon. Remember the beginning of Casino Royal? Well that's Pa Core. Yes there are people (Mainly in France) who lace up their Nike's and hop from rooftop to rooftop in an acrobatic display of insanity. Many Have died practicing this "sport" and a lot of cities have illegalized it. District B13 looks like a new era of action film but it was actually made in 2004 so it is available on DVD and available below.

500 days of summer? Oh lordy lord! Another schmaltzy, heart warming American pile of poo! How many of these young adult love stories does Hollywood need to pump out every year to satisfy the obviously growing market for unbearable chick flicks? 500 days of summer is yet another one of these tear making factories featuring 3rd rock from the suns "Tommy" who plays a very different role here as a guy called Tom, Surprised? Joseph Gordon-Levitt who is obviously in love with the chick from Yes Man, weird ass named Zooey Deschanel, Not Decimal! Or Decibel! Deschanel! Who play the part of Summer! 500 days of summer? get it? Pardon the pun everyone but this seems a little lame if you ask me. 500 days of summer is not the only movie scheduled to expose our favorite TV alien, Joseph Gordon-Levitt  is also set to play the part of Cobra ..........

Halo movie trailer - The first look at Halo the movie.

Looks like we are in store for something quite phenomenal here and and Halo the movie is on its way, with unknown South African Director Neil Blomkamp (the guy that did that really cool Citroen advert) at the helm this looks like it could very easily be a disaster. Peter Jackson is producing and has insisted that Blomkamp is up to the task as Director. By the looks of the trailer I think he just might be. Halo the movie will not focus around the character of Master Chief! Little is known about the story line and internet nerds all over the place are watching bungies every move to catch a sniff of what Halo the movie might hold. The halo movie will be co produced by Microsoft, guess that's a good way to.......

The informers red band trailer is here. It seems like Mickey Rourke might be overdoing it a bit. Yeah He was great in the wrestler but have some dignity! He seems to be very quickly falling into the same roles he was doing before. The bad ass hit man type has been overdone already and is the reason why he went south in the first place. The Informers looks like quite a good film and sees the return of another lost face Winona Ryder. The kleptomaniac beauty hasn't been in a movie since A scanner darkly and really should show her face more often. This Red Band Trailer was banned from TV for very obvious .......

Last house on the left Trailer - Too many spoilers

last house on the left is a  remake of the Was Craven Classic is set to scare the crap out of you some time this year. Although we don't really need to go see the film anymore because the trailer gives away the entire story. Girl and Boy get involved with bad ass gagster types, gangster types shoot girl and go to the nearest house (The last house on the left!) to get out of the rain. House belongs to the girls parents. Girl comes home with bullet wound. Dad finds out who did it, and beats the living Be-Jesus out of them. Whew! That was a mouth full, but now you have no need to see it either. The dudes head in the microwave bit seems al least mildly entertaining. Lets see what comes of it. The last house on the left is only the 2nd film to be directed by "Hardcore" director Dennis Iliadis. Sounds Greek to me. Last house on the left features no well known actors mostly TV stars and has beans. I'm sure this will revive the Wes Craven version that is actually very watch able.

Jeez this looks like a pretentious pile of crap! Pretty boy, pretend actor Ryan Phillippe dons a cheesy looking nightmare before Christmas mask and runs around in this sci-fi/period drama action. Although the art design looks pretty cool I think we've seen this kind of thing before with V for vendetta. Although this time the anti-hero looks like a bad scarecrow impersonator. I wish Batman would swoop in and nail ..........

Its amazing to see what lengths promoters will go to to get the message out there. Creative advertising is becoming more competitive everyday with advertising hotshots constantly striving to "out-pitch" the next guy. In which board room meeting did they decide to release Finding Nemo sushi? That must have been an interesting fly on the wall experience.  In this dog eat dog world of who's the latest flavor some truly imaginative things emerge. These images portray the amazing lengths that ad guys have to go to.

 

Watchmen Featurette - 4min on the new movie

They said Watchmen was the un-make able graphic novel. The classic comic book has now been turned into a film by Zack Snyder (The guy that did 300). Watchmen is said to be this years big release and has had a huge amount of interest everywhere on the internet. It looks pretty good, but I cant help but feel by looking at the trailer that it might have a bit too much Buffy the vampire slayer in it. I'm really not sure if I'm not really interested in some superhero chicks relationship with her mother. Did the Dark Knight have any of these silly side stories? Did Iron man have some soap opera type story string? I think not!  Anyhow Watchmen is due for general release on the 6th of March 2009. It will be interesting to see what the critics think.

Streetfighter 2 : Legend of Chun-Li . Wow! This  clip is pretty new I think. The oldest results on Youtube are 5 days ago. The Beautiful Kristin Kreuk has been cast as Chun-Li with Green Mile Big guy Michael Clarke Duncan in the role of Balrog. It kind of looks like Bloodsport 3 meats Hero. Although no release date has been set (According to imdb) it looks like Japanese cinema goers will get it a bit earlier than everyone else. It asks the question. Was it filmed in Japanese and dubbed into English? Or was it the other way round?

Terminator 4 Salvation Official trailer - Christian Bale

Yeah! Looks like they are re-inventing the Terminator movies. Terminator 3 wasn't bad, gut it didn't quite feel like a proper terminator movie. Christian Bale has been cast as the part of John Connor. Bale is generally great, but lets hope he doesn't go all gruff like in Batman. He sounded like he needed a some cough medicine. Sadly James Cameron is not set to direct so this movie could go either way.  Terminator Salvation is currently in post production and is set for general release on May 22 2009. Lets hope this is going to be good because we all love a good Terminator movie!    The trailer looks awesome tho!

Oh my god this looks hardcore! The sequel the 2006 heart pumping chaos inducing action flick Crank. In Crank 2 Jason Statham returns, miraculously! This movie looks hardcore. Maybe its a pre-quel Who knows? Because I seem to remember Jason Statham falling to his death from a good few thousand feet or so. Did he survive? Or has he got 9 lives. This is probably the most hardcore movie trailer I've ever seen! Naked chicks and all!

I just cant get enough of WormyT's video genius. This guy has managed to put together some of the most stunningly cleaver videos. Check this out, Neo Vs Robocop. Robocop - Part man, part machine, all cop. Neo Part Man, part messiah all stoner surfer dude.  WormyT has pasted together scenes from The first matrix and probably bits from all the Robocop movies. Although it does look a lot like most of the Robocop bits came from the first movie. Cant help but recognize Peter Weller in there. Its great! Have a look! Oh well, all's all and another year is upon us.  I managed to pull myself away from the party to post this update. DEDICATION!

This is Heath Ledgers last interview. Isn't it amazing how an actor can come along, do a few movies, not really make that much of an impact, do one movie, blow the audience out of their seats and then up and die like the classic 28 curse portrays. Heath Ledger  proved himself as a great actor. Brokeback mountain, Lords of dog town, the dark knight. All phenomenal roles. Its interesting to see how many great stars died so young, Marilyn Munroe, James Dean, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison all died around that age. Is it just a J thing, or is it something more sinister? Heath Ledger Doesn't have a J in his name but he certainly fits the profile. Maybe there will be an update on this site with a dedication to the 28 curse.  Its real! There are others! Robert Johnson! Buddy Holly! Jesus! lol ... (He was 30) apparently?

Dennis Pennis has been around for quite some time. I still remember seeing him on a British youth interest program 15 years ago and I have a sneaking suspicion that its really British comedian Paul Kaye. Dennis travels in the footsteps of the Paparazzi, bumping into celebrities and dishing them all kinds of unexpected dirt. Guess that makes him a bit of a hero round these parts. George Walker (Texas Ranger) Bush was attacked by an Iraqi reporter with a projectile shoe today. The former president of the United States was giving a press conference when a insolent Iraqi member of the press hurled his shoe directly at the war mongering oil hog. This video shows that Bush has actually been well trained for this inevitability. With reflexes like that I'm sure he can dodge bullets. Its amazing to think that this was actually possible, what with all the security now days. The weapons of mass destruction are hidden in the Iraqis shoes George! Although full marks to Mr. Bush for handling it like a pro. He didn't even flinch. Except to get out of the way that is.
